a very good friend of mine turned 30 this week, a special birthday requiring a special gift. i was hunting for a while & i decided on these lovely butterflies. melbourne designer lightly hunts through op shops looking for interesting vintage plates that can be turned into these butterflies. it was difficult to give them away, they would look wonderful in my kitchen.
